Hello All,We wanted to tell you a little bit about Jane and Steve Dula. We first met them at a charity event I was co-hosting. They had set up a small pen with two of their alpacas and were telling everyone about the "alpaca lifestyle". I am the worst skeptic and even I was totally enchanted by the gorgeous alpacas and the stories of the way the alpacas change your life. My mother and I were captivated! We agreed that day that raising alpacas was what we should be doing. We went into training for about a year with Jane and Steve and finally decided which alpacas we wanted to purchase. We bought our starter herd from Jane and Steve and we were so excited we could hardly wait for them to be delivered. Jane came out to our ranch to be sure her "kids" were going to a proper home and would be well cared for. Once we passed inspection, the herd was delivered. We never looked back. This has been the most incredible experience we've ever had. Jane and Steve were always just a phone call away and often came out to help us whenever we needed them. The follow-up mentoring has been a real blessing for us because with any type of livestock, about the time you think you've seen it all, they come up with something new to throw at you. We get on the phone and explain what's going on and usually it turns out to be nothing but new owner nerves. As our ranch continues to grow we still look to our mentors for advice and counseling. We now have close to 30 alpacas on our farm and we owe our good farm management techniques to Jane and Steve. We wish them continued success and we are honored to count ourselves as one of their success stories.
